✍️ Patriot’s Pen Scholarship - Open to students in grades 6–8, this written essay contest fosters critical thinking and personal reflection. Participants compete at Post, Department and National levels, with top awards reaching up to $5,000.

Voice of Democracy

🗣️ Voice of Democracy Scholarship - For students in grades 9–12, this audio-essay competition encourages participants to explore themes tied to American values and democratic ideals. Winners can receive substantial scholarships — including up to a $35,000 first-place award at the National level.

Veterans Serving Veterans Since 1937

Post meetings are the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6pm in the Hall. 

(November and December meetings will be on the 3rd Wednesday)
 We will now be serving meals on our meeting nights, 4-6 pm.  Please join us if you can. 
VFW Basic Post 3848 thanks all veterans for your service!
 
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks.  Our common bond is our sacrifice, whether it was service in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the Global War on Terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
