It's that time of year again, the Annual Toy Drive will begin this month; Nov 12th thru Dec 11th Help us support C.T. Sewell Elementary families by dropping off a toy. Your donation may qualify for a Post meal discount! If you prefer not to donate a toy, please consider donating cash that we will use to purchase toys.

Protect VFW Post 3848 from Traffic Hazards

We are addressing multiple traffic concerns at VFW Basic Post 3848. More specifically, vehicles are circumventing the traffic light on the corner of Lake Mead Pkwy and Basic Rd, and also driving on the sidewalk and through landscaping to our neighbor's parking lot. Our main concern is Public Safety! We are currently researching and creating a plan to deter these illegal, dangerous actions, which may include boulders, bollards, a gate, etc.

Meatloaf Meal - $10

Please join us Wed, Nov 20th, for a meatloaf meal. Only $10 per plate! Plates will be served 4 - 6 pm. Members - Please don't forget our meeting is this same day at 6 pm, to accommodate the holidays.

Canteen is now open on SATURDAYS too!

Our Post Canteen is open Mon-Fri, 2:30 pm - 9 pm. Taco Tuesdays and Hamburger Fridays are 5-7 pm on their respective days. SATURDAYS: 10 am - 6 pm and offering 2 hot dogs and a beer for $5! VFW Basic Post 3848 welcomes visitors!

WELCOME TO BASIC POST 3848

Veterans Serving Veterans Since 1937
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the Global War on Terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

Our programs support our service members while they are on the front line, as they are being discharged and long after they return. Your tax-deductible donation will be immediately directed to the VFW programs where your support is most urgently needed.
